Dinner With a View: Outdoor Dining in Pittsburgh

Date:

Summer means patio season! Pittsburgh rooftop bars and outdoor patios are the key to a perfect summer dining experience. Check out some of our favorite local spots!

Biergarten At Hotel Monaco

The rooftop Biergarten at Hotel Monaco is the perfect post work and weekend place to celebrate good friends and good times.

The Biergarten features an extensive menu of European beer as well as German-influenced bar bites. You need to get the giant soft pretzel with beer cheese…it’s the BEST! Prost!

Poulet Bleu

Talk about stunning views! Poulet Bleu is where modern meets rustic at this farmhouse-style eatery that brings French fare to Pittsburgh. Their front patio and back deck are both open for dining as well as dome seating. We suggest getting your hands on some of those Aligot Potatoes and don’t forget a delicious cheese plate pairs well with a glass of wine!

Hofbrahaus

Located right in Southside, Hofbrahaus is a fan favorite! They have the very best in authentic Bavarian bier, food and entertainment! Did you know the first week of every month they tap a fresh keg of one of their authentic Bavarian biers?

Walter’s Southern Kitchen

Head over to Lawrenceville and visit Walter’s Southern Kitchen for delicious barbeque and great vibes! The relaxed, rustic-industrial stop offers outdoor seating and lawn games for a fun night out.

Over Eden

Food, drink, and amazing views! Nestled in the rooftop of a former trade school in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood, Over Eden is a restaurant and garden bar waiting to be discovered.

Happy Hour 5-7PM: $1 off drafts + $2 off sangria pitchers. Over Eden does not offer reservations so you’re going to want to get there early!

IL Tetto

Talk about the ultimate rooftop view!

Il Tetto, offers 32 drafts, cocktails, wine, and light fare while boasting one of the best and most unique views of downtown Pittsburgh. Their retractable glass roof allows Il Tetto to be open year-round and open-air in warmer months.

Redfin Blues

Want to be by the water? Then be sure to check out Red Fin Blues located at Washington’s Landing Marina. The waterfront spot has a deck by the water and pub-style seafood and shellfish.

Roland’s Seafood Grill

Roland’s Seafood Grill is located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District! The views and the food is something you do not want to pass up! We absolutely recommend the lobster and Shrimp Po Boy rolls!

Coughlin's Law Kitchen & Ale House

Coughlin’s Law is a laid-back brewpub located in Mount Washington. This hip spot has multiple TV’s for sports games, city views from the patio and an extensive lineup of beer and cocktails. The patio is also available to rent for events!
